Gati Infrastructure Group is focused on building three Run-of-the River Hydro Electric projects in various parts of Sikkim.

Run-of-the-river projects are built on those areas where the flow rate and elevation drop of the water are consistent enough to build a hydro electric plant directly on the river. The water passes through the plant greatly changing the flow rate of the river. In many instances a dam is not required hydro electric plant causes minimal environmental impact on its surrounding.
